The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Ted York can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Cris
Condolence: My heart goes out to you over your loss. May you find comfort in the precious memories shared and may God's Word help to bring you peace. 'Do not be afraid, for I am with you... I will really help you. I will really keep fast hold of you with my right hand of righteousness.' (Isaiah 41:10). As we keep praying for the day when suffering will end, may God grant you peace that is beyond all understanding. Philippians 4:7. Heartfelt prayers are with you. -

Condolence From: P.B. Odom III
Condolence: I am sorry to hear of Ted's passing. I first met Ted when my lumber salesman for Cullen Lumber. Cullen supplied my homes as a young builder.

Ted later built many very fine homes in my Mayfield neighborhood in the 80's. I have fond memories of a Caribbean cruise I hosted for my builders in 1987. Ted, Aloma and Janet came with us and we all had a marvelous time.

Later Ted built Janet and her family a home in my Rivendell neighborhood and eventually he and Aloma joined them in Rivendell.

Ted was a fine gentleman and my life was made fuller because of him.

All of Ted's family is in my thoughts and prayers.

Condolence: The World has lost a great man...but...Heaven has "gained" one. I went to Exchange Baptist Church with your Family at one time back years ago when Frank Baugh was there. My deepest condolences in your loss. Frederick L. Hastings
