Obituary for Randy Alfred LeGrande

Randy Alfred  LeGrande
Randy Alfred LeGrande went to be with his Lord on February 4, 2016. He passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he had resided for several years.

Born December 18, 1952 in Jena, Louisiana, Randy was the second of two children born to John “Jack” Alfred LeGrande and Mary Maxine Carrier LeGrande of Jena. Randy was a 1970 Graduate of Jena High School and attended Northeast Louisiana University (now ULM) in Monroe, LA. Randy served our country for six years in the Louisiana National Guard.

After attending NLU, Randy pursued a career in oilfield chemicals and oilfield safety in various locations in Texas, in the Gulf of Mexico and eventually in Oklahoma City, where most recently he held the position of Regional Manager with Pro-Ject Chemicals. Randy was a devoted Son, Father, Brother and “Pop”. He loved his Lord, good food and his family.

He is survived by his wife, Debra, of Oklahoma City; son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jenny LeGrande of Oklahoma City; daughter and son-in-law, Jaime and Shannon Blake of Winnfield, LA; daughter and son-in-law, Sara and Nick Zenk of Oklahoma City; and stepson Scott Wilson of Oklahoma City. Also surviving Randy are his loving grandchildren ~ Gracie, Rett and John Robert Blake of Winnfield, LA and Kaylee Zenk, Dylan Brannen and Russell Wilson of Oklahoma City, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Randy will be greatly missed, but his legacy will live on in our memories as we recall his strong faith, loving nature, courage and the joy he brought to us all.
