Obituary for Euel Elisha Ford

Euel Elisha Ford, 89, of Oklahoma City, OK went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Monday, August 15, 2016. He was born September 3, 1926 in Stigler, OK to Nelson L. and Iona A. (Bittle) Ford.
Euel graduated from Stigler High School in 1945 and later received his bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Oklahoma City University. He went on to work as a food broker for over 30 years. A few of his favorite things included watching OU football, solving crossword puzzles, and spending time with his friends and family. He never met a stranger and will be dearly missed and remembered by all who knew him.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 66 years Imogene (Tidwell) Ford; sister, Virginia Moyer of Oklahoma City, OK and brother, Guy Henry Ford of Tulsa, OK; daughter, Marcia Rowlan of Oklahoma City, OK; three grandchildren, Charles Rowlan and his wife Melissa of Evanston, IL, Andrew Rowlan and his wife Liza of Amarillo, TX, and Stuart Rowlan and his wife Stephanie of Oklahoma City, OK; and two great grandchildren, Hunter and Charlie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nelson and Iona Ford, brothers Nelson Leon Ford, Jr., Kenneth Ray Ford, and Alfred Dee Ford.
There will be open viewing available on Thursday, August 18th at Vondel L Smith & Son Mortuary located at 13125 N MacArthur Blvd. A graveside service will be held Friday, August 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Heritage Burial Park at South Lakes in Oklahoma City, OK with Pastor Richard Goad officiating.
