Servicios para velar a la señora Juanita seran el Sábado, 31 de Diciembre de 4:00-8:00pm y el Domingo, 1 de Enero del 2017 de 12:00pm - 8:00pm en la funeraria Vondel Smith Mortuary (6934 S. Western Ave)
El rosario sera a las 6:00pm el Domingo, 1ro de Enero del 2017.

Misa de cuerpo presente sera el Lunes, 2 de Enero a las 10:00 am en la capilla La Florecita (1125 S Walker Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109)

El entierro será despues de la misa en el panteón Pleasant Valley (59th y S. Council)

Viewing will be held Saturday, December 31, 2016 from 4:00pm-8:00pm and Sunday, January 1, 2017 from 12:00pm - 8pm at the funeral home (6934 S. Western Ave)
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00am Monday, January 2, 2017 at Little Flower Catholic Church (1125 S Walker Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73109)
Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley Cemetery (59th & S. Council)




Sanjuana Garcia, mejor conocida como “Juanita” entró en su eterno descanso el Miercoles, 28 de Diciembre del 2016 a los 75 años en la cuidad de Oklahoma City. Juanita nacío el 12 de Enero de 1941 en la cuidad de Torreón, Coahuila, México. Sus padres fueron Geronimo Contreras y Felicitas Palafox. A los 14 años se caso con el señor Jose García y pasaron 40 años juntos hasta su fallecimiento el 20 de Enero de 1995. Juntos tuvieron 11 hijos de los cuales decendieron varios nietos y bisnietos. Juanita fue una mujer muy querida por toda su familia y por las personas que la rodeaban. A ella le gustaba cocinar tamales, enchiladas, chiles rellenos y muchos platillos mas. Tambíen le encantaba tejer y asistir a la iglesía. Juanita fue una mujer de fe y de mucho amor. Una buena esposa, madre, abuela y amiga a la cual nunca olvidaremos y siempre vivira en nuestros corazónes.

Sanjuana Garcia, better known as “Juanita” went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at age 75 in Oklahoma City. Juanita was born January 12, 1941 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico. Her parents were Geronimo Contreras and Felicitas Palafox. At age 14 she married Jose Garcia and spent 40 years together until his passing January 20, 1995. Together they had 11 children and from those children many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Juanita was a very loved woman by all of her family and the people that surrounded her. She loved to cook tamales, enchiladas , chiles rellenos and many more entrées. She also loved to knit and attend church. Juanita was a woman full of faith and a lot of love. She was a loving wife, dedicated mother, caring grandmother and great friend who will never be forgotten and will always live in our hearts.
