Visitation will be held on Wednesday & Thursday from 4-8 P.M. with the family greeting friends 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 6, 2017 at Southern Hills Baptist Church~Chapel 8601 S. Pennsylvania

Judy, passed away Mon., Jan. 2, 2017. She was born Oct. 7, 1942 to Mary Ruth and William (Bill) Hix in OKC, OK. Judy is survived by her husband Harrell Cathey of the home, daughters, Lynne Paige Webb and Lisa Carol Cox and husband Phillip all of OKC., City; son, David Cathey and his wife Betty of Plano, TX; sisters, Carol Rubio of Guthrie and Sandra Keneda of OKC; seven grandchildren, Kennedy and Mitchell Cox of OKC, Kaylan and Sean Webb of OKC, Michael Lamar, Brittany Cathey and Jennifer Cathey all of Plano, TX; numerous nieces and nephews. Judy graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1960. She moved to Alaska and worked for the Anchorage Credit Union for three years before returning to OKC. Judy played the piano since grade school and played at two different churches. She attended several churches including Southern Hills Baptist Church. She was active in Bible School and the Senior Adult Choir. Judy enjoyed “going” even when it was snowing. The more snow the more she wanted to go. She liked singing and even took singing lessons at age 62. Judy enjoyed her grandchildren and kept them almost every day from birth to pre-k. She enjoyed “get-away” trips with Harrell and train rides with the grandchildren. She and Harrell were very much in love with each other and were almost always holding hands.
