Matthew, 43, was born to John Robert & Sharon Marie (Meyer) Shoush on November 8, 1973 in Germany. He grew up in Oklahoma City and graduated from Putnam City North High School in 1992. Matt went on to attend The University of Oklahoma. Matt worked for Schenker for over twelve years and for the last five years worked for Ditch Witch of Perry, OK. On August 13, 2011, Matt received the gift of new life after undergoing a double-lung transplant. This selfless gift gave him a unique appreciation for life. Matt married Kimberly Stephens in Oklahoma City on July 31, 2015, and was blessed with a new family. In his spare time, Matt enjoyed reading, movies, and cheering on OU Football and Thunder basketball. He loved spending time with his family and one of his favorite things to do was attend Skyler and Marina’s games and events. Although his presence will be missed his memory will live on forever.

Matt was preceded in death by
his parents, John and Sharon Shoush.

He leaves behind his
loving wife, Kimberly Stephens-Shoush,
children, Skyler and Marina Stephens;
parents-in-law, Gary and Gayle Phillips;
step-mother, Neva Hawpe;
brother, Nicholas Shoush, wife Lindsay, and son, Elliott;
sister Lauren Hardy, husband, David, and son, Jacob;
sister, Katherine Cools and husband, Michael;
step-sister, Margo Hundley, husband, Wade, and children, Haley and Cale.
