Paul Francis Martini II, 76, went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2017. Paul was born to Paul Francis Martini, Sr. and Marian McDonald on March 30, 1940 in Exeter, Pennsylvania. He was drafted to the Philadelphia Phillies at age 16 where he played baseball for a short time. He then enlisted in the Army National Guard in 1956 where he served in the 28th Infantry Division until September 30, 1958 then, only two days later, on October 1, 1958 enlisted in the United States Air Force. While serving his country, on February 11, 1960, he married the love of his life, Doris Marie Trojan. Paul served a 4 year term and after being honorably discharged in 1962 worked as a chemical engineer for Champlin Refinery for many years. Later in his life, he pursued a college education at Northwestern Oklahoma State University where in 1989 earned a degree in Political Science and History. In 2004, he finally sought retirement from the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety where he had worked as Manager of Equipment for the OK Highway Patrol for several years. Paul was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dr. Robert Martini and daughter, Joann Queeney & his great granddaughter Ella Grelle. He will be deeply missed and leaves many cherished memories with his loving family: wife, Doris Marie Martini; son, Paul F. Martini, III & wife Laura; brother, Albert Martini; sister, Maryann Simko; daughter-in-law, Shalia Martini; grandchildren: Aubree Grelle & husband Matt, Zach Martini, Andrea Martini, Drew Queeney, & Grant Queeney; great grandson, Luke Grelle; and many other loving family and friends.
