Eldean Gibson went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 19, 2017 at the age of 83. She was born March 15, 1934 in Cushing, Oklahoma. Eldean was the second youngest and last surviving of fourteen children born to Oliver Critten and Alice (Goodwin) Smith. Eldean worked as a bread wrapper for the Bond Bread Company in Oklahoma City before becoming a waitress for the Downtown Bowling Alley. She was hired at the Western Electric Plant and built mainframe switches before retiring after twenty five years of service. On June 11, 1953, Eldean married Richard Earl Gibson, a former United States Navy sailor who had just returned from serving in Korea. Together, Eldean and Richard shared 57 years of marriage and raised four children, before his passing on May 13, 2011. She enjoyed doing sewing, shopping and cooking. She volunteered for many years at South Community Hospital and Pioneers. She was a resident of the Oklahoma metro area for more than 80 years. Throughout her life Eldean was a member of South Lindsay Baptist, Southern Hills Baptist and the Southwest Church for Christ. She devoted her life to serving the Lord, her family and others. She was a loving devoted wife, mother, an adoring grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed.

• Mike Koch and his wife Jessica of Oklahoma City
• Tom Koch and wife Heather of Oklahoma City
• And Ryan Koch of Oklahoma City

• Emma, Laci, Sam, and Addie Gibson

• Ryker, Brecken, Kennedy and Kylee Koch
