Martha Ann (Jessen) Davidson
November 21, 1931 ~ March 21, 2017


Martha Ann Davidson (Jessen), beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away Tuesday the 21st of March at Bellvue Health and Rehab Center following a brief illness.

Born on November 21st, 1931 in Murray IA, daughter of George W. Jessen and Viola Ellen Jessen, Martha resided in Oklahoma City with her husband Ronald Davidson (2003). Martha and Ron made their living owning and operating Tri-State Claims. They enjoyed time with family and friends at Lake Texoma.

Martha enjoyed sitting around the kitchen table, looking at old pictures, and creating photo albums of her family. She was wonderfully stubborn and had the biggest heart. Martha loved any amount of time spent with her family or talking on the phone with her sisters.

She is survived by her sister Marian Sterns (John) of Osceola, IA, her two sons Marvin (Ellen) Bowlin of St. Louis and Greg Bowlin of Des Moines, and her four step children Cathi (Leland) Webb, Terry (Sandi) Davidson, Rhonda (Kermit) Tomes, and Lisa Davidson.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Viola Jessen, her sisters Irene (Gene) Brand, Dorothy (Jerry) Davis, Betty (Gene) Powell, and her husband Ronald Davidson.

There will be a visitation with family present on Sunday, March 26, 2017 from 4-6pm at Vondel L. Smith & Son Funeral Home 13125 N MacArthur Oklahoma City, OK. A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 27, 2017 at 10:00am at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery 7500 W. Britton Road Oklahoma City, OK.
