The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary at 6934 S. Western Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73139. Funeral Mass celebrating her life will be held Thursday, April 12, 2017 at 10:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, located at 1901 NW 18th Street, OKC, OK 73106.

Tonya L. Arias was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on December 30, 1972. She entered Heaven’s gates on April 8, 2017. Tonya was a hard-working, loving mother who loved to cook for all her family & friends. She loved to dance, sing, and have her family gathered around her. She would do everything in her power to make sure her children had what they needed in order to succeed. Tonya had an unwavering faith in God and faithfully attended St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Tonya was preceded in death by her loving mother, Martha Basham & grandfather, Jose Arias. Tonya is survived by her sons Zachary, 14 and Thai, 22; daughters Stephanie, 26 and Tosha, 28; brothers Joseph and Jerry; sister, Maria; grandchildren Mileena, Easton, and Calvin; and many other beloved family and friends.
