Jonathan, 41, entered Heaven’s gates April 13, 2017. He was born August 27, 1975 in Oklahoma City to Donald and Loretta (Dycus) Walton. Johnathan attended Southgate Elementary in Moore, and later attended Southeast High School, where he excelled in golf. He later attended and graduated from Capitol Hill High School. After graduation, he attended vo-tech school where he obtained his electrician license as well as his electrical contractor license. He was proven to be a highly skilled student, earning second place in the state vo-tech competition for electrical wiring. After earning his licenses, he went to work for Trek Electric of Edmond, and All-Pro Electric before becoming a self-employed business owner. Jonathan had a passion for BMX bicycle racing and go-kart racing, and at one point entered into the go-kart racing at the OKC Fairgrounds and placed 2nd overall. Jonathan was a huge OU and OKC Thunder fan, and also loved golfing, bowling, baseball, and hunting, but what he truly loved was time spent with his family. He was a wonderful son, doting father, loving brother, and loyal friend who will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Walton. He leaves behind cherished memories with his mother, Loretta Walton; sons Jadon Walton & Jace Walton; daughters Alexys "Lexy" Walton & Layney Walton; step-children Shelby Duff, Austin Duff, and Karley Duff; sister Donna (Walton) Cagle; nephew Caleb Cagle; and many other loving family & friends.
