Richard was more than just Tommy's best friend since early childhood. Richard and Kay were Tommy's and my very best friends and we enjoyed so much fun and laughter thru the years. There wasn't much of an opportunity for boredom. Richard remained Tommy's best friend even after Tommy died, in that he and Kay stayed close by, caring for his best friend's family, surrounding myself, Brandy and TR with unwaivering friendship and love. Richard even taught me how to hang wallpaper, so I could support my family. I have no idea how I would have kept my sanity or carried on without them both. Although I had lost communication with Richard in recent years, I will be eternally greatful for my dearest friends who were there in my darkest times. God bless you Richard. I hope you and Tommy are enjoying getting reacquainted and making the angels smile with your antics, much as you both did for me. For now, rest in God's loving arms, your suffering is no more. Gail.
