Patrick Henry DeCarlo went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the age of 80. The son of Maurice and Marie DeCarlo, Patrick was born April 10, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas. After graduating from Lamar High School in Lamar, Missouri, Patrick honorably served his country in the United States Marine Reserve. Patrick married his sweetheart, Nancy Day on July 16, 1957 and together shared more than 59 years of marriage and raising their two children, Valerie and Doug. Patrick provided a warm and loving home for his family by working in many management capacities for different grocery and retail stores and retired in 2000 after 43 years of dedicated service. In his spare time, Patrick enjoyed such hobbies as playing golf, going to OU football and basketball games, watching the Yankees, playing his guitar and singing. Patrick was known for his great sense of humor. He served as president of the Moore Chamber of Commerce, a Moore city councilman, president of the Moore High School Booster Club as well as many committees involving the city of Moore. He will be remembered for his love and devotion to his family and deeply missed each day.
Patrick was preceded in death by his:
Parents;
Brother, Maurice DeCarlo, Jr.
Patrick leaves cherished memories with his loving family:
Wife of nearly 60 years, Nancy DeCarlo of the home;
Son, Doug DeCarlo and his wife, Vernona;
Daughter, Valerie Bowman;
4 Grandchildren;
3 Great Grandchildren.
