Visitation for Ms. Johnson will be Thursday, June 1 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Services to celebrate her life will be held at Grand Boulevard Baptist Church Friday, June 2 at 2:00 PM.


Loyce Virginia Johnson left this earth on Monday, May 29, 2017 at the age of 94. Daughter of Ernest Ervin and Ella Mae Patty, was born December 12, 1922 in Idabel, OK. She loved her family and told them every chance she got. She was known as Granny by most and loved by all. Above all she loved the Lord. She knew where she was going the moment her eyes closed in death; she would open them to see Jesus. No more pain or confusion. She will be greatly missed, but she’s just a memory and story away. She was a long time member of Grand Blvd. Baptist Church, which was led by her late husband, Vernon,recently pastored by her son in law, Don Hunte, and currently pastored by Dennis Dunn.

She was preceded in death by her:
Husband of 49 years, Vernon Johnson;
son Gary Johnson;
Sisters, Joyce Allen and Ernestine Hallbauer;
Brothers Clyde Patty, Dane Patty, Ralph Patty & Bassil Patty.

She is survived by:
Sister Polly Brooks of Broken Bow, OK;
Daughters Toni Collins & husband Randel of OKC, and Tina Hunter & husband Don of Moore, OK;
Daughter-in-law Shondra Johnson of Moore, OK;
Grandchildren: Kelli Beall & husband Lonnie of Choctaw, OK; Kevin Collins & wife Hailey of Moore, OK; Matt Collins of OKC; Jennifer Elliott & husband Chris of Moore, OK; Cortney Hunter of Moore, OK; Ging’r Parrick & husband Jason of Florida, and Jeff Johnson of Moore, OK;
Great-grandchildren: Marissa Elliott, Karlee Langdon, Allison Beall, Lane Elliott, Caden Elliott, Kiley Collins, Emma Collins, Case Collins, Josh Parrick, Jerimiah Parrick, and Leah Johnson;
Great-great grandchildren, Barrett Elliott and Jamison & Jackson Parrick;
