Visitation for Joanne Keith will be held 4-8 PM Friday, June 9, 2017 at the funeral home. Services to celebrate her life will be 10:00 AM Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Vondel L. Smith & Son Colonial Chapel (6934 S. Western) with interment at Resthaven Memory Gardens following the service.

Joanne Keith passed from this life to meet her heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the age of 85. Joanne left this world with a smile to her family letting them know she was going to a better place. Joanne was born April 16, 1932 in Sulphur, Oklahoma to her parents, Roy and Lucile (Hale) Maupin. After graduating from Stratford High School, Joanne married the love of her life, Nolen “Curly” Harry Keith. They moved to Oklahoma City a few years later. She worked at Tinker Air Force Base and Baker & Taylor Company, before taking a job at Integris Baptist Medical Center, where she worked as the business manager. Joanne retired from Baptist in 1997. A talented pianist, Joanne played for many churches she attended beginning at a young age. She was a member of Brookwood Baptist Church and loved the Lord, her family and others with all of her heart. She will be deeply missed.

Joanne was preceded in death by her:
Husband, Nolen “Curly” Keith on February 28, 2007;
Parents, Roy and Lucile Maupin;
Two Sons, David Keith and Jimmy Keith.

She is survived by her loving family:
Daughter, Nola Stringfellow and her husband, Richard of Moore, OK;
Brother, Jim Maupin and his wife, Mary of Guthrie, OK;
Six Grandchildren;
Five Great Grandchildren;
Daughter-in-law, Linda Keith;
Many nieces and nephews.
