Obituary for Minta Kay Killmer

Vondel Smith Mortuary at South Lakes

Minta Kay Killmer passed away at her home in Oklahoma City on June 16, 2017. Minta was born on September 13, 1955 in Oklahoma City to Arthur Glen Minter and Neva Iwanna Puckett. She and her siblings, Jerry and Sherry were raised in South Oklahoma City. Minta graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1973. Minta was blessed with two children Lisa and Tommy and was always there to provide for them. For a number of years Minta worked for Budwesier. She wore numerous hats there and at one time was involved in equipment maintenance and she was also a sales representative for the company. Anyone that knew Minta was aware that she liked to keep her hands busy. She enjoyed knitting and made many small items for her family and friends which they will always cherish. She had a number of interests but most of all Minta loved spending time with her family. They used to take trips to the lake and also went on many vacations together. Her children and grandchildren made wonderful memories over the years during those times. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and friends but her memory will live on through them.
