Bob was such a neat guy. I've known him since I was a teenager (I'm 48 now). My first meeting with Bob was at the State Fair in the mid 1980's. I was a Police Explorer and Bob was involved in a CB radio club who volunteered patrolling the parking lots outside the Fairgrounds. He was the same genuine, friendly and outgoing guy this year that he was 30+ years ago. And above all, he was a man dedicated to helping others. I remember asking Bob his age a few years ago and he told me he was in his 90's, but he'd only had 23 birthdays (He was born on February 29th during a leap year). He certainly lived his life where age was just an number...it never held him back from staying active. Bob, I feel privileged to have had the opportunity to work with you and to call you a friend. You touched so many lives in a positive way. I find peace knowing that you are in heaven!
