Cal, 88, went to be with his Heavenly Father on July 25, 2017. The son of Calvin Clyde & Lena Pearl Davenport, Calvin was born April 26, 1929 in Oklahoma City. After graduating from Central High School, Calvin honorably served his country in the US Air Force having served during the Korean Conflict. After his honorable discharge, Cal married the love of his life, his sweetheart, Barbara Jean Moody on Feb 17, 1950 and together shared more than 67 years of marriage and raising their family. Cal earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business from OCU and began a career at the FAA, where retired as Deputy Director. Following his retirement from the FAA, Cal, joined Evans Enterprises and retired as CFO. In his spare time, Cal was an avid golfer and enjoyed flying as a private pilot on fair weather days. A lifelong resident of OKC, Cal was a longtime member of Exchange Ave Baptist Church, but in more recent years he worshipped at Southern Hills Baptist Church, where he fellowshipped with the Navigators Sunday School Class. Cal was known for his whimsical wink and was often sought after and will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Cal was preceded in death by his:
Parents;
Son, Rick Davenport.

Cal leaves cherished memories with his loving family:
Wife of 67 years, Barbara Jean Davenport;
Son, Craig Davenport;
Granddaughter, Danielle Cristin Atkins and her husband, Patrick;
Great grandson, Caleb Daven Atkins;
Many other loving family and friends.
