Obituary for Mary Lou Smith

Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Sunday, August 13, 2017 at St. Augustine of Canterbury Episcopal Church, 14700 N. May Ave. OKC, OK.


Mary Lou Smith, 86, of Oklahoma City, passed away on July 26, 2017. Mary Lou was born in Denver, CO on March 10, 1931 to Kenneth and Alma (Dick) Davis. Mary Lou served as an LPN at Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City, MO and retired in Moberly, MO. She had a passion for reading, animals, attending church, and margaritas. Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Clarence Lloyd "C.L." Smith. She is survived by her children; daughters, Sandra Peterson and husband Doug, and Pam Alltizer and husband Dale; and son, Kent Smith and wife Jamie; grandchildren, Heather Heilman and husband Aaron, Michael Peterson and wife Sarah, Aaron Foutch and wife Jessica, Brendan Foutch and wife Laura, Keely Foutch and cat Mark, Levi Smith and wife Susan, Averi Beers and husband Josh, and Elena Smith; great grandchildren, Quentin and Gavin Heilman, Luke, Ryan, and Abby Peterson, Holden Foutch, Hadlee Foutch, Timothy and Valorie Smith, and soon to be little girl Beers.
A memorial service to remember Mary Lou will be held at 3:00 PM on August 13, 2017 at St. Augustine's Episcopal Church in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to: Good Shepherd Hospice and The Humane Society of the United States.
