Obituary for John Julius Linster Jr.

John Julius Linster, Jr. was born December 10, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania the son of John Julius and Catherine (Bird) Linster. He completed this life on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2017 in Oklahoma City at the age of 90.

John served his country during World War II being honorably discharged from the U.S. Army Air Corp in December of 1946. He worked as an electronics engineer retiring from the Federal Aviation Administration in 1984. He was a member of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Leona (Grundhauser) Linster; his Daughter, Deborah L. Mauldin and her husband Gary, Irene Matthews and her husband Ken and Diana Ridelin and her husband Mark; his son, David Linster and his wife Donna; his 12 grandchildren and his 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at the Ft. Sill National Cemetery in Elgin, Oklahoma.
