Condolences

Condolence From: Debbie Curry
Condolence: Charlotte was one of the most generous and loving people I have ever known. As a child, I grew up eating at the cafeterias, and so many special family occasions were celebrated at Dodson's. In my adult life, Charlotte was an encourager, supporter, and spiritual mentor. Sending my love and prayers to the Dodson family tonight. Heaven has gained a precious soul!

Condolence: I am so sorry for your loss. My favorite meal at Dodson's was the pork cutlet with white gravy. I'd fill the rest of my tray with the wonderful veggies.

My sister, Sandy Jackson Buntley, worked for the Dodson's for a while and said they were very nice people.

Condolence: I used to love Dodson's Cafeteria, even had my baby shower there. Then I fell in love with Beverly Doolittle's art, because of Dodson's Gallery. Then I went to work for the Y at Earlywine Park. That's where it went full circle. Charlotte was a joy to be around at the YMCA and what a surprise it was to find out she was one of a few that was instrumental in bringing the YMCA to South Oklahoma City. She was truly a great lady and has left a great legacy.

Condolence: I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Charlotte. I will always remember how kind she and Charles were at all times. I will never forget my first job as an employee of the cafeteria when I was 16 years old in 1976. Elizabeth and I send our deep regrets and prayers for your strength and comfort.

Condolence: Sending love to all the sweet Dodson family... remembering how special Charlotte was to our family from the time we all met at Capitol Hill Church of Christ. We ate lunch at Dodson's every week, loved listening to Joe Sr play "Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Days of Summer'" on the organ, and we had every major Birthday and wedding shower celebration planned by Charlotte. I'm so happy our paths crossed again in recent years, Charlotte & Joe were wonderful Christian inspirations to Bobby and me... they leave us with rich memories. With sympathy & much affection, kay
