After a long battle with cancer, Marsha Kay Reeder died on August 14, 2017, at the age of 62, at her home in Moore, Oklahoma. Marsha was born on September 10, 1954, to Arnold and Lucille Reeder, who preceded her in death. She grew up in Buffalo Springs, Clay County, Texas. She attended Midway ISD and graduated in 1973. She earned an Associate Degree from Hillsdale Free Will Baptist Bible College in 1975, and an honorary BA in Leadership from Randall University in 2017. She was a part of New Life Singers that travelled for Hillsdale during her years in college and was active in the music ministry at CrossPointe Church as long as her health allowed. Marsha retired from the Oklahoma Office of Personnel Management in 2011, where she had worked for over 31 years. Marsha will be missed for her mischievous ways and smile. Her stories were legendary. She loved taking people out to eat and often insisted on paying! Marsha was an inspiration to all with her positive attitude toward her disease. In her last visit with her longtime friend, Deleen Cousineau, they prayed over each other's needs. Her prayer for Deleen was filled with power and encouragement. Marsha is survived by her sister, Rita Reeder, nieces Sydney Paula Aliyu and Katie Reeder, all of Wichita Falls, Texas, nephew Daryl Reeder and wife, Kelli of Henrietta, Texas. She is also survived by her great-nephew, Braxton Swain, of Wichita Falls, whom she adored. The family would like to thank Marsha's friends, extended family and her Free Will Baptist family for all their prayers and support over the last few years. We would especially like to thank her good friends, Kathy Bishop, Pam Thompson, and Linda Cooper for their support during treatment over the years. She couldn't have fought so long and hard without them.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Buffalo Springs Cemetery Association, c/o Jane Browning, 4465 Liberty Rd, Bellevue, TX 76228, or to Randall University, P.O Box 7208, Moore, OK 73153.
