Velma Mae Murray was born in Lexington, OK on Apr. 6, 1921to Charley & Osa (Mitchell) Stewart. She accomplished many things in her life & owned a catering business that she was very successful at. When Velma was not hard at work catering for others, she loved & enjoyed to paint, read, play cards, fishing, cooking for & entertaining those she loved. She was a loving & caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother & friend. She always had the biggest heart. Velma was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles W. Murray; son, Billy Murray; daughter in law, Pamela Burdick; and her loving companion of 27 years, Max Schiff. She leaves behind her granddaughters, Kristen Day & Amber Justice; grandson, Jeremiah Burdick; great grandchildren, Preston Owens, Savannah Houchin, Alycia & Karina Rivera, Teagan, Cannon & Kasen Burdick.
