Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Cynthia Cornelius can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Viewing will be held Tuesday, Nov. 28 at the funeral home.


Services to celebrate her life will be 10am Wed, Nov 29 at Life Church in Norman.


Cynthia went to be with the Lord November 22, 2017. She was born in Madill, OK to William and Mary Livengood. Cynthia was a follower of Christ and was dedicated to reading and studying her bible. She attended Life Church of Norman and volunteered every day at the Mission Norman. She was a member of the Seasoned Saints life group where women talked and supported each other. Cynthia was an avid fan of OU football & basketball as well as the OKC Thunder, and was a big fan of Disney. She gave her all in everything she did. Cynthia loved her dog Lily and adored her grandbabies. She will be forever loved and deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her parents; and the father of her children, Jack Cornelius, II. She is survived by sons Josh Cornelius and wife Rachel of Blanchard, OK, Benjamin Cornelius and wife Anissa of San Diego, CA; daughter Jackson and husband Matt of Edmond; sister Sherry Silverstein-Alpert and husband Dr. Michael Alpert of OKC; grandchildren Mia, JJ, Franklin, Salem and Jack Cornelius, Shepherd and Georgia Tecmire; and sister-in-law Cathy Musgrove and husband Shawn of Norman, OK; and many loving nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
