Memorials may be made The Work Activity Center 203 E Main St, Moore, OK 73160 or the Adult Special Needs Sunday School Class at Southgate Baptist Church 740 S.W. 4th St Moore, OK 73160

Viewing will be 4-8 PM Wednesday & Thursday with the family present to 6-8 PM Thursday at Vondel Smith South Lakes 4000 S.W. 119th OKC, 73173.

Jimmy Dale Phipps, beloved son and brother, entered Heaven’s gates on Sunday, March 11, 2018 at the age of 71. The son of Billy Dean and Rozella “Rosie” (Burch) Phipps, Jimmy was born on January 15, 1947 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. For more than 30 years, Jimmy worked for the Oklahoma League for the Blind and most recently worked as a cart handler at the Walmart Super Center in Moore for nine years. In addition, Jimmy also worked at the Work Activity Center of Moore where he would package items for businesses. Jimmy had a captivating smile and personality. He’s happiness would shine the Light and Love of God wherever he went. Jimmy loved life and embraced each day with excitement. He enjoyed people and loved fellowshipping and worshipping at Southgate Baptist Church. He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his:
Mother, Rozella “Rosie” Phipps.

He leaves behind his loving family:
Father, Billy Dean Phipps;
Sister, Vicki Gable;
Sister, Billie Meek and her husband, Larry;
Step-sister Karen Masters;
Nephews, Mike Gable, Todd Meek & Chris Meek;
Nieces, Toree Parks & Roni Brown
Many other family, friends and co-workers.
