Services will be 11:00 AM Thursday March 22, 2018 at New Hope Worship Center, 3513 N. Geraldine Avenue, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma 73112 with viewing prior to the service. Interment will be 2:00 PM Thursday, March 22, 2018 at the Antioch Cemetery in Antioch, Oklahoma.


Lewis, 75, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018. The son of Marvin & Vesta McCurley, Lewis was born on February 26, 1943 in Pauls Valley, Ok. After graduating from Pauls Valley High School, Lewis honorably served his country in the US Army. He worked for many years at Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent/Celestica. He closed the doors of the plant and then retired. He loved coaching his little league baseball teams, cooking, canning, woodworking and making tinmen. He will be greatly missed. Preceded in death by his parents; brothers Robert, Larry and Sister Emma Lois Moore and daughter, Christy Pickett. He leaves behind his loving wife, Catherine McCurley, brother, Harold sisters: Aletha Joyce Bolin, Barbara Barnett & Glenna Young. His children: Jerry McCurley and Stephanie Mashburn. Step children: Rusty and Darryl Bruner and Cheryl Peredetto. Grandchildren: Devon McCurley, Tasia Fryett-McCurley. Step Grandchildren: Travis and Dillon Bruner, Justin Farris and Mykel Peredetto. Great Grandchildren: Creed McCurley, Step Great Grandchildren: David & Carly Bruner, Mason Farris, Jaiden, Keeli & Raelynn Peredetto and many other loving family, friends and retirees.
