Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Linda Cooper can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Linda Ann (Theissen) Cooper

Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on Thursday May 24 at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK. Memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 29th in the Westminster Presbyterian Church; 4400 N. Shartel Ave. A private family interment was held at Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Linda Ann Thiessen Cooper was born August 15, 1944 in Hinton, OK the daughter of Ray L. and Lenora (Harris) Thiessen. She went to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the age of 73.

Linda married Jerry Morris in 1964 and together they became the parents of Matthew Ray Morris. They divorced in 1970. She married Billy Joe Cooper in 1974 and he preceded her in death on September 1, 1991.

Linda owned and operated Cooper Executive Services from 1992 until 2018.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill; and her infant brother Billy Ray Thiessen. She is survived by her son, Matt Morris and his wife Lucinda along with their children, Carson and Andie of Piedmont, OK; her sister, Mrs. Jim (Janice) Woolnough of Keller, TX and her longtime companion, Robert Jones. Linda loved her family and friends.

The family would like to recognize Dr. Lara Theobald and staff for the care given in Linda’s six year battle with Breast Cancer. She will truly be missed by all.
