Jennifer Lynn Roper passed away on Sunday, August 5, 2018, after a long courageous battle with metastatic breast cancer. She was 42 years old. The daughter of Emile Rivera and Joanne Willett, Jennifer was born September 6, 1975, in Torrance, California. On August 21, 1993, Jennifer married the love of her life, Mark Roper and they were blessed with two sons, Kyle and Kaleb. Jennifer was a loving wife and a devoted mother, who was known for her wonderful sense of humor and passionate love of life. Jennifer will be fondly remembered for how she treated everyone as family. She never knew a stranger. Jennifer enjoyed helping at the schools of both boys and she made beautiful wreaths. With an adventurous spirit, Jennifer loved to travel with her husband, Mark and her two boys. Jennifer also worked on the Young Survivor Coalition hotline and was an advocate for other cancer survivors. Jennifer loved many and was loved by all! She loved and lived life to its fullest each day with a generous heart and loving spirit. We will support those still fighting, admire the survivors, honor the taken and remember Jennifer's courage, strength and perseverance as we wear pink in honor of her life.

She was preceded in death by her:
Maternal Grandparents, Joseph and Grace Eastwood;
Paternal Grandparents, Carlos and Trudy Rivera;
Aunt, Susan Eastwood;
Uncle, Frank Eastwood;
Step-father, Frank Willett;
Step-brother, Frank “Guy” Willett, Jr.

Jennifer leaves behind her loving:
Husband of 24 years, Mark Roper;
Sons, Kyle and Kaleb Roper;
Mother, Joanne Willett of Morris, OK;
Father and Step-mother, Emile and Carrie Rivera of Torrance, California;
Brother; Emile Rivera, Jr. his wife, Cheryl of Portland, Oregon;
Step-sister, Lisa Willett of Broken Arrow, OK;
Step-brother, Chris Willett and his wife, Chrystal of Minton, Ohio;
As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, loved ones and friends.
