Our beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Aunt, Parky Espolt, peacefully left this life September 5, 2018. She was 97. We celebrate her life by remembering her dignity, her sense of humor, her strength of character, her loyalty to family and friends and her faithfulness to God. She delighted in life. She was loved by friends; cherished and respected by family. Parky was born June 25, 1921 in Pauls Valley, Ok to Wilson Lockhart and Ruby Moore Lockhart. She was a lifelong, very proud Okie. She was the last of her generation and beloved matriarch of her small family.

She is survived by her daughter, Tamara Dalby Ward of OKC; grandsons Dallas Wade Dalby and wife Jaynell of Allen, Texas, and Ty Coleman Ward of Dallas, TX; great grandchildren, Grayson Wade and Addison Taylor Dalby. She also leaves behind niece-in-law Bernice Lockhart of Oklahoma City; nephew Tommy L. Lockhart (wife Vanessa) of Gordo, Alabama; and great nieces and nephews.

Parky was preceded in death by her parents; her infant daughter Sharon Vesta Marvin; her infant grandson Kelly Christopher Dalby; her adored brother Tommy W Lockhart; her nephew Doug G. Lockhart, niece Debbie Lockhart Echols, and son-in-law Michael Coleman Ward. Parky attended Columbus Elementary, Jackson Jr. Hi., graduated from Capitol Hill High School in 1938. She was a journalism major at Central State College (now UCO) and still enjoyed The Oklahoman every day.

Parky started her working career as a teenager in the news stand at the Katy RR depot in OKC; then Secretary to Sales Mgr. of Folding Carrier Corp; Assistant to Vice-President of Manufacturing at JAMCO Inc.; and ultimately retired from Trust Management at First Interstate Bank (formerly First National Bank of OKC) in 1989.In retirement she worked part-time for her daughter and son-in-law in the office of their construction company, M&T Specialties, Inc. She was president of OKC Charter Chapter ABWA and presided over the National ABWA Convention held in OKC in 1957. Parky was a faithful member of Oakcrest Church of Christ and attended services as long as her health allowed.
