Kaye, 86, was welcomed into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on September 12, 2018. The daughter of Wayne & Ova (Griffin) Updegraff, Kaye was born May 1, 1932 in Stratford, OK. On October 30, 1949, Kaye married Jimmie Himes and together shared more than 67 years of marriage and raising their two children before his passing on Christmas Day, 2016. To help support her family, Kaye worked as an Executive Trust Officer for the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation. Kaye was an accomplished World China Painter and was also an active member in the Presbyterian Women as well as Professional Business Women USA. In her spare time, Kaye was very talented and enjoyed many hobbies, including traveling, her favorites being all over Europe and to Jerusalem, and being a bible school teacher, but nothing was more treasured to her than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Kaye was a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother, and dear friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Kaye was preceded in death by her:

Husband, Jimmie;
