Flora Elizabeth (Bailey) Emberton died peacefully in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on October 16, 2018 at the age of 86.Elizabeth is survived by her children Jeannie Kline and her husband Chuck of Oklahoma City, John Harp and his wife Kari of Newcastle, Oklahoma, and Jeff Harp of Blanchard, Oklahoma.
Grand children: Matthew Kline and his wife Mikki, Michael Kline and his wife Misty, Bryce Harp and his wife Abby, Jonathan Kline and his wife Sarah, Rebekah Miller and her husband Chris.
Great grandchildren: Kaythan, Gryphon, Jadeyn, Hudson, Konner, Kyleigh, Kennedy, Colin, Liam, Moriah, Lydia, and Nathaniel.
Plus many loved cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her:
Parents; W.C. Emberton and Elizabeth Emberton
Brothers; Bill Emberton, Carroll Emberton, and Joe Emberton
Husband; Joe Bailey

Elizabeth was born on July 27, 1932 in Durant, OK to W.C. and Elizabeth Emberton. Elizabeth was an accomplished researcher in family history and genealogy and self-published a book (“Looking for A City”) documenting the history of the Embertons. She was a student of the bible, loved her church and her extended family. She was a gifted singer.

A funeral is scheduled for Sunday, October 21 at 2PM at Vondel Smith Mortuary South Lakes 4000 SW 119th Street, Oklahoma City, OK. Visitation 4PM-8PM on Saturday, October 20. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Elizabeth’s life. The family would like to thank South Park East and Physician's Choice Hospice for their dedication and loving care.
