Obituary for Ava Patricia Voelpel (McAllister)

Ava Voelpel, 90, of Moore, Oklahoma passed away February 12, 2011. Ava was born December 14, 1920 in Griffithville, Arkansas to Russell Todd and Ollie Viola (Harris) McAllister. She proudly served her country in the U.S. Army during WWII and later dedicated her life to taking care of her family and providing them with a warm and loving home. She enjoyed gardening and loved to read. Her family will miss her greatly.

Ava was preceded in death by:
• Her parents, Russell Todd and Ollie Viola McAllister;
• Husband, Carl Voelpel;
• And 2 brothers.

Survivors include:
• Her daughters, Debbie Denton and Ann & Walt Werhun;
• Brothers, Bill, Stine and R.T.;
• Sisters, Wilma and Katie;
• Grandchildren, Shannon and husband Hank, Daniel, Michelle and husband Valdo, and John and wife Joyce;
• Great Grandchildren, Cody, River, Rainey, Jessica, Shelby, Jamie, Kelsey, and Gabriel;
• As well as numerous nieces and nephews.
