Alberta Josephine Vicsek, 91, went to be with her Lord on July 14, 2012 in Norman, Oklahoma. She was born February 26, 1921 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Grover S. and Helen (Kolowsky) Hinson. Alberta was a 2nd Lt. Army nurse having served during WWII and later retired as a registered nurse. She was active in several different organizations including the American Legion Post 35 and the Oklahoma Nursing Association. She was also a charter member of the Women inn Military Service to America in Washington, DC.

She was preceded in death by her:
Parents, Grover and Helen Hinson;
Husband, Steve F. Vicsek;
Daughter, Cathy Wiley.

She is survived by her:
Sons, Steve Vicsek, Michael Vicsek and Patrick Vicsek;
Sister, Dolores Walsh;
Numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
