LaVaughn, 84, went to be with the Lord on August 21, 2017. The daughter of William & Nellie (Holeman) Culp, Mary was born January 20, 1933 in Drumright, OK. LaVaughn was a graduate of Drumright High School and attended Oklahoma A&M College. On March 23,1951, LaVaughn wed Dr. Eugene C. Mouser, Jr. LaVaughn was a successful real estate agent for Century 21 and Pro100 Real Estate for many years in the Joplin, MO area, an active member of Byers Ave United Methodist Church, an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution & World Organization of China Painters. LaVaughn relocated to OKC in 2010 to be closer to her family. In her spare time, LaVaughn enjoyed china painting and geneology. LaVaughn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Eugene C. Mouser Jr; son, Eugene C. Mouser III. She leaves behind family: son, Bill Mouser & Cheryl Yadon; son, Jeff Mouser & wife, Judy; sisters: Wilma Twining & JoAnn Beard; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and numerous family and friends. Viewing will be 4-8 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Services to celebrate her life 10:00 AM Friday, August 25, 2017 at South Lakes Chapel with burial following at Heritage Burial Park at South Lakes, 4000 SW 119th ST OKC.
