When I leave you, don’t weep for me. Pass the wine around and remember how my laughing pleased you.
Look at one another, smiling, and don’t forget about touching. Sing the songs that I loved the best and dance one time all together. As for me, I’ll be off running somewhere on the beach, and I’ll fly to the top of the tree I always meant to climb. When you’re ready, I’ll be there waiting for you. Take your time.

Vi passed away February 1st, surrounded by her loved ones.
She is survived by husband of 46 years, Roger Basterash, daughter Christine Fuller (John Norman), son Ryan Basterash (Amanda), grandchildren Tony Fuller (Kassy Kirchner), Rachel Fuller, and Logan and Kennedy Basterash, sisters Carol Zindel, Judy Hain, Wendy Bullard (Dick), and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son, Gene Balbinot, and her parents, Wendell and Alice King.
A memorial gathering will be held at Vondel L. Smith & Son Mortuary, 13125 N. MacArthur Blvd. Oklahoma City on Wednesday, February 7th from 3:00 until 6:00 pm. A separate funeral service will not be held.
