Betty Jane (BJ) Lowe, 77, of Oklahoma City, OK passed away June 23, 2018 in Oklahoma City after a long struggle with heart disease. BJ was born to David A. Barnes & Emma L. (Maines) Barnes on December 30, 1940 in Grandfield, OK. BJ will be remembered for her love of family, fashion, & reading a good book. BJ was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters Barbara A. Wagoner & Jean Malone. She is survived by her sons, James T. Vaughn & wife Gaye L. Vaughn of Konawa, OK, and Carl W. Beaver & wife Jodi Beaver of Oklahoma City, OK; brother David L. Barnes & wife Deborah L. Barnes of Choctaw, OK; grandchildren Jamie L. Scott/Vaughn, Chad Vaughn, Breanna L. Beaver, Bryan Beaver-Jones, Chalin Vaughn, Hunter Vaughn, Kira Cates, & Justin Piatt; 8 great-grandchildren; and many other beloved family & friends.
