Johnene, 89, peacefully passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 23, 2018. A lifelong resident of OKC, she graduated from Capitol Hill High School and shortly thereafter she entered the workforce retiring from the Okla. Board of Education as a Financial Secretary. She is preceded in death by her parents John & Helen Ferrier; husband Emmitt Lunn; one sister; Mahota Thomas & grandson Wisdom Ledgerwood. She is survived by two daughters Tressa Phipps & husband Glen; Nancy Ledgerwood & husband Bill; two grandchildren Monica Bellinger & husband Rick; Scott Phipps & wife Tisha; eight great grandchildren Drew, Ally, Addison, Rod, Tryez, Olivia, Eliana & Arabella; one great-great granddaughter Blaire. Johnene was a woman of faith & longtime member of Capitol Hill Assembly of God, she will always hold a special place in the hearts of her family & friends & will be fondly remembered as a steadfast Christian, loving & devoted wife, mother, grandmother & friend.
