Viewing will be held 11am-8pm Friday, August 17, 2018 at the funeral home (6934 S. Western Ave) the family will be greeting friends from 4-6pm.

Services to celebrate the life of Zella will be held 10:00am Saturday, August 18, 2018 at the Vondel Smith South Colonial Chapel with burial to follow to Sunny Lane Cemetery.

Zella Lee Albright, 95, of OKC, passed away August 15, 2018. She was born March 21, 1923 in Oklahoma City, OK to Jesse Lee and Margaret Alice (Finch) Sanders. Zella was a proud member of Kentucky Avenue Baptist Church from the age of 15 until death. Zella retired from the Western Company where she worked as a management assistant. Zella was married to Henry Leslie Steele in 1942 in Oklahoma City. They had one son, Leslie Don Steele, and one daughter, Diana Lee Steele, before Leslie was killed in a plane crash in 1945 while training pilots in the Air Corps. In 1948, she married Ernest (Bob) Glidden Albright. They enjoyed 62 years of marriage. After buying an RV, they traveled all over the United States together. She was truly the beloved matriarch of the family and will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her:
Parents;
First Husband, Henry L. Steele;
Second Husband, Ernest “Bob” Albright;

She leaves behind her loving:
Son, Don Steele;
Daughter, Diana Smith;
Five Grandchildren;
Nine Great Grandchildren;
Five Great-Great Grandchildren;
Many other loving family and friends.
