Gladys Mott Witt

Gladys Mott Witt was born May 7, 1918 in Stillwater, OK the daughter of Fred Arthur and Myrl (Ricker) Mott. She completed this life on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the age of 100.

Gladys married Leslie Eugene Witt on November 24, 1938 in Stillwater and they were married 69 years when he preceded her in death in 2007. They made their home in Stillwater for many years where they owned and operated a Mistletoe Express Company. She was a master seamstress who sewed clothing for her family and many friends. She also enjoyed keeping a beautiful garden around her home.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Staff Sergeant James L. Mott who was killed in action during WWII.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Marlin and her husband Allen and Carol Gifford (Mrs. Bill) of Oklahoma City; her Grandchildren, Steve Marlin, Angela Marlin, Leslie Flesner and Cindy Halbert; her 5 great Grandchildren and her 2 great-great Grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, Sept. 24th at Church of the Servant. Private family interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens in Stillwater.
