Nancy Elizabeth Davis, beloved mother, grandmother and aunt, passed away on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the age of 99. The daughter of Walter Allen and Anna (Cranford) Newby, Nancy was born on October 29, 1918 in Farmer, North Carolina. After graduating from high school, Nancy married her sweetheart, Walter Allen Davis and together shared many blissful years of marriage and raising their daughter, Veronica. In addition to being a loving wife and devoted mother, Nancy also worked as a hairdresser for many years. She enjoyed oil painting and gardening in her spare time. Nancy loved and served the Lord with all of her heart and enjoyed worshipping, fellowshipping and her church family at St. Mark’s Church in Norman for many years. Nancy lived a long and active life and her presence on earth will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by her:
Parents;
Brothers: Charles Newby and Jack Newby;
Sister, Eloise Taylor.

She leaves behind her loving family:

Grandchildren: Shae McCurdy, Darci Lenker and Trent Moran;
Great Grandchildren: Shade McCurdy, Samson Lenker, Cetani Lenker, Noam Lenker, Titus Moran and Tait Moran;
Nieces and Nephews: Kay Taylor, Vicki Newby, Steve Newby, Gary Newby and Dianna Johnston;
