I am so sorry for the family’s loss. Death is one of the hardest trials to cope with. May you find comfort from the future promise recorded in Revelation 21:4 which says “he [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more.” We can be certain God will fulfill his words.

Paula Kay is the daughter of my sister, Jane, and her husband, noted evangelist Paul Johnston. Paula was also the first female among the Cousin Clan of the extended family. She was an adorable person with a keen sense of humor, like her dad, and a whimsical smile, like her mom. My wife, Roseanna, and I send our love to Darrell, Melissa and Kevin and your family as we grieve her loss. You will be sorely missed, PK.

God is close to the brokenhearted and we lean on him for comfort as we grieve. I will always cherish how loving Paula was to my family. She would always encourage and compliment those nearby. If you missed church you could sure expect to get a text from her saying she missed you, hope you are doing okay and love you. She was artful at keeping tabs on those who were sick or in need of encouragement. She truly loved her church family and we will dearly miss her. Our thoughts and prayers are with her immediate family. I pray you are somehow comforted by those who surround you today and in the coming days ahead.

We were so sorry to hear about Paula passing away. I worked with her for several years at Allstate Insurance and she was so nice to me when I was new there. She was a very sweet, warm, and caring lady whom I enjoyed knowing and always considered a friend.I know this was so sudden for your family, I cannot imagine the heartache you are going through right now. Will be keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers, especially Melissa who is good friends with our daughter. May God bless and comfort you.
