George Lee Terry was born May 7, 1927 at Pershing, Osage County, Oklahoma to Harry and Flossie Belle (Lane) Terry. He died October 17, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. George enjoyed raising a garden all of his life, even into his 90’s. He enjoyed animals of all kinds. George was especially knowledgeable about horses and could spend hours sharing his knowledge about them. During his working life, George was a heavy equipment operator and mechanic for Concho Construction.

He was preceded in death by his:

• Stepson, Gary Don Smith

He is survived by his:
• Sons, Montie Terry, and James Terry & wife Virginia
• Sister, Bonnie Louise Chapman
