Obituary for Billy Don Rogers

Print
Billy Don Rogers went to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at the age of 78. The son of Billy E. and Christina Mae (West) Raper, Billy was born on June 5, 1940 in Healdton, Oklahoma. After graduating from High School, Billy took some College courses. Billy married his one true love, Mary Donna Ferrell. In addition to being a loving husband and devoted father, Billy provided for his family by working as TV Station Master Control Engineer. His career began at the early age of twelve where he worked as a movie projectionist in his hometown movie theater for all the popcorn and cokes he could eat and drink. When Billy wasn’t working, he enjoyed watching, recording, and collecting movies and movie memorabilia, especially early westerns. Popcorn was never in short supply in the Rogers household; but nothing was more important to him than spending time with his family whom he loved with all of his heart. Billy will be deeply missed each day.
