Terry Lem Coker passed away on November 21, 2018 at the age of 65. He was born on September 18, 1953 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Terry grew up in Oklahoma City, graduating from US Grant High School and attended college at Central State until he decided to make the family business, Coker Transmission a full time career and became a racing star in the 70โ€™s and 80โ€™s on the circuit in Oklahoma and the Heartland, winning many trophies and races in his racing career. He was an avid racing fan and supporter of young talent. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a lifelong member of Siloam Blue lodge, and Shriner, who gave much of his life and energy to raising money for Shrinerโ€™s Burn Hospitals for children. With many lifelong friends, Terry was a stand-up, straight forward guy and highly regarded by all who knew him. He loved music, science fiction, traveling, and was a jack of all trades when it came to mechanical problems of any kind. He became a member of the Royal order of Jesters. Terry and Cindy were true partners in love and life for 30 + years. After retiring from Coker Transmission, Terry, Cindy, along with her brother and sister-in-law went into business together forming an Investment LC that he enjoyed so very much. Terry enjoyed life and was very proud of the fruits of his labor and achievements and was looking forward to retirement and a condo on the beach one day with his wife. We will all miss his strong presence and love the rest of our lives. One of his favorite song lyrics โ€œAnd in the End, The Love you Take is equal to the Love you makeโ€ by The Beatles.
