Alnetta Mae (McCord) Martin was born on June 10, 1932 in Marland, OK and passed away Dec. 16, 2018 in Edmond, Okla. Alnetta loved her LORD, was very active in and devoted to her church, loved her family, and loved her Oklahoma State Cowboys. She loved flowers, had impeccable taste in clothing—especially in finding bargains—and loved to cook for her family and friends. Alnetta graduated from Central High School and married the love of her life, Bill Martin, on Dec. 30, 1949. She volunteered with the Brownies and helped with the Girl Scouts as one of the many ways she supported her daughter. She also volunteered with the Cub Scouts for her son. She was a bowler and very much enjoyed assisting with the end-of-year bowling banquet. Alnetta worked for and then managed Answer Inc. Later, she worked at Crow and Dunlevy attorneys-at-law and then became a librarian for the Office of the District Attorney, Bob Macy, from where she retired.
