Dr. Trick: a servant, a scholar & teacher, a person who loved "doing" for his family, a colleague, a friend. Nelson was someone who taught many of us Old Testament truths and whom students loved. His fellow faculty members loved his wilingness to chair the Faculty Affairs Committee that planned faculty social times, guided the early years of faculy social times when we would meet over game times and sharing of food...and Dr. Pepper had to be a part of those times. He is celebrating with the biblical prophets, apostles, and of course, our Savior & Lord...all of whom he taught so many of us about. Thanks to his family for sharing him with us. I am so sorry for the family’s loss. Death is one of the hardest trials to cope with. May you find comfort from the future promise recorded in Revelation 21:4 which says “he [God] will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more.” We have assurance from God’s word the Bible and we can be certain God will fulfill the words from his word.
