Obituary for Maxie Thomas Harrison

Maxie Thomas Harrison passed away May 22nd, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 77. Max was born on June 20, 1942 in North Carolina. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gene and Mary Harrison.
Max married Avon Kaye on April 17, 1986. They made their home in central Oklahoma for 34 years while Max worked as an oilfield salesman, and Kaye and Max ran their own business, Environmental Maintenance.
Max was a people person. Friends and family will tell you that he lived life to the fullest. Max was a son, a father, a husband, an uncle, a nephew, a cousin, a family member, and a friend. He was a member of Norman Masonic Lodge #38 for a multitude of years and served as Past Master.
Mr. Harrison enjoyed spending quality time with his family. He liked spending time near the water in Eufaula, Oklahoma with family, friends, and friends he considered family. Max was happy. Max was always smiling. He was a joyous spirit who loved to make Kaye belly laugh at least one time a day. He was the kind of man you want to sit under the tree with and peel apples together.
He is survived by his wife, Kaye Harrison, daughters, Tonya Slauson and Cheryl Stamper, and sons, Thomas Stamper, Jr. and wife Kim, and Darin Todd Stamper and wife Christie, and grandchildren: Alexandria Elise Pinkington, Zachary Brian Johnson, Meredith Blythe Parker, Andrew Thomas Johnson, Katie Hickerson, Ryan and Abbie Stamper, and Tasha and Tanner Stamper, and several great grandchildren.
