Obituary for AB Johnson

AB went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 19, 2020 in Barnsdall, OK. He was born in Range, OK to Robert Asberry “Bob” Johnson & Lutitia Grace (Robb) Johnson. AB started working on the farm with his dad at a young age. When he was 17 years old he married Lucille Marie Van Buren and the two were blessed with six children. AB provided for his family as a farmer until he moved to OKC, where became a successful welder. On December 12, 1975, AB married Joyce Earley Jones in Oklahoma City. They were married for over 40 years until her passing in 2016. He attended Hilltop Baptist, and later First Southern Del City until his health no longer allowed. He was preceded in death by his Parents; wife, Joyce; step-son, Jeffrey Mark Jones, and one brother, Roy Johnson. He is survived by his children: Anita & husband Terry Foster; Katherine Johnson; Gearldine Farley; Victor Johnson; Delia & husband Ronnie Brown; and Bob & wife Mary Ellen Johnson. 13 Grandchildren: Jennifer Ware & husband Jason; Mandi Wixon & husband William; Rory Farley; Kylie Puckett & husband Dave; Kyle Johnson; Shae Johnson & wife Laurie Jo; Rebekah Bargewell & husband Tristan; Collin Johnson; Aaron Brown & wife Suzi; Brandi Workman & husband Steven; Kathryn Johnson; Laurie Johnson; Jami Watts & husband Dwight, a host of great-grandchildren, as well as many loving friends and family.
