Obituary for Margie Lewis (Stumpf)
Viewing will be 4-8 PM Monday, November 9th and Tuesday, November 10th, 2020 at the funeral home, with family greeting friends Tuesday from 6-8 PM.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Resthaven Memory Gardens,
Margie Lewis passed from this life on November 3rd, which was her 82nd birthday.
She was born on November 3rd, 1938, in Norge, Oklahoma. She graduated from Chickasha High School in 1956. She married the love of her life, Paul Arthur Lewis on February 17th, 1957.
Margie and Paul were blessed with 3 children, Paul Lewis, Debbie Lewis-Basinger, and Danny Lewis. When the children grew older, Margie began working at TG&Y. She also sold Avon and Tupperware before beginning work at Western Sizzlin Steakhouse. She worked for Western Sizzlin for 40 years, where she became a Supervisor. She considered her Western Sizzlin family her family, too.
She loved serving her Lord, attending Emmaus Baptist Church, since November 13, 1994. She helped spread the Word of God on Mission trips all over the United States. As part of these Missions, she helped build Houses of Worship that stand to this day.
She loved arts and crafts, sewing and cooking. Her wedding cakes graced several weddings, and she also sewed wedding dresses. She loved sewing for the grandchildren as well. Her family can attest that she made the best tacos, pizza, and fried pies. Her roast is a family classic! Margie was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and a loyal friend. She will be missed by all.

She leaves behind her loving family her:
Son, Paul Lewis Jr. of Jones, Oklahoma;
Son, Danny Lewis and his wife, Cyndi of OKC;
Sisters: Jean Campbell, Cheryle Presley and Karen Taylor;
Brother-in-law and Sister-in-law, Tommy and Mary Lewis;
Sister-in-law, Joann Lewis;
Grandchildren: Dakota Lewis, Chantal Lewis, Megan Oblander and husband Strider, Brett Lewis and wife Dallas, Bryan Lewis and wife Jessica, Bradley Basinger and wife Ashley, Collin Basinger and wife Remington;
Great-grandchildren: Danielle, Arielle, Oaklyn, Joey, Brodie, and Brantley;
As well as many other loving family and close friends.
