Obituary for Dianna Lynn Austin (Bell)

There was a private family service held to celebrate Dianna's life and she was laid to rest in LeFlore Cemetery in LeFlore, Oklahoma on Friday, November 13, 2020.

Dianna Lynn Austin, fondly known as “Aunt Popcorn”, passed away at home surrounded by family on Sunday, November 8, 2020. She was 63 years old. Dianna was born January 1, 1957 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to her parents, Ernest and Geneva Bell. She graduated from Douglass High School in 1975. For 19 years, Dianna worked as a phone operator for the Oklahoma Dept. of Human Services. Dianna was blessed with her son, Lonnie and was a loving, doting and devoted mother. An avid lover of all four-legged furry friends, Dianna especially enjoyed spending time raising her beautiful black labs. Dianna had a kind and gentle spirit about her. She was a very good friend to most everyone. She had a deep love for the Lord and was always very willing to share and spread the Word of the Lord with others. With a servant’s heart, Dianna was always willing to lend a helping hand and help those in need, especially little children. Her kindness to little children was unimaginable and she used every opportunity to put a smile on a child’s face. The love she had for her family was impossible to measure. She met their every need and was always there to support each and every member through the good times and rough one too. Throughout her life, Dianna positively influenced every person she encountered and we are all changed for the better and tremendously blessed with her unconditional love. The legacy she left behind will continue to live on in each of our hearts. She will be forever missed until the glorious day we are reunited with her in Heaven.
